I’ve been a bit busy with work and uni and in the meantime I’ve completed 2 out of 3 exams for my CCNA cert
(intro to networking and routing & switching). The plan is to
finish the final exam next semester in September and wrap the whole thing up.

CEH is going well too, roughly halfway through at this point. At this point I’m still barely capable when it comes to completing pent testing exercises. Still a long way to go but it’s starting to click in a way.

About me

I am a BSc student and aspiring cybersecurity professional currently living in the UK.
I am also studying towards completing two certifications: Cisco CCNA and EC-Council CEH.
Besides networking and cybersecurity I have a strong interest in everything linux and open source in general, currently daily driving an Arch setup installed and configured by myself.

(At first)This website started as a small personal project I decided to take on to get my HTML and
CSS skills back into shape (until I got sick of updating everything manually and resorted to HUGO). As a kid I briefly played around with webpages without
really understanding what I was doing pretty much just copying snippets of html here and there, changing
colours, and calling it a day. This time around I wanted to actually learn how
things work and build something from scratch, however simple it may be.

Blog posts

My setup

My setup consists of a ThinkPad P50 (i7-6820HQ, NVIDIA Quadro M1000M, 32GB of RAM). I currently dual boot between Windows 10 Pro and Arch Linux.

On the Linux side, I use a minimal configuration with a focus on performance and simplicity based on the suckless tools and vim as my primary editor.

I am actively working towards ditching Windows entirely and moving to Linux full time but at the moment I still rely on a few Windows applications for university.

Personal projects

Useful links

Here are some useful or simply interesting links to pages that I recommend to anyone interested in programming, technology, or just looking for some good resources to learn from.
